I would like to tell you a bit about the company, and what we are looking for in an Outside Sales Rep.

After working for another Instant Canopy company for 8+ years, I decided to break out on my own, and start my own brand.  The company “opened our doors” in May of 2019 and have had great growth… even with the Covid shutdown.

We produce custom printed canopies, flags, table covers and other “event day” items.  Imagine a Soccer Tournament or a 5k run…  Everything you see at those events are what we produce.  We aren’t limited to events.  Our customer base also includes banks, hospitals, construction companies, beverage and lifestyle brands… just about anyone who has a logo!

An outside sales rep is an important component of the growth plan for Activate Canopy.  While we do offer some of the best pricing in the industry,  we are also able to offer the best commission plan as well.

As an outside sales rep, you will have a protected territory where you can generate new sales.  If you are active in your community, and have a network of existing businesses or events, then you would already have a great start.  You will want to locate companies that have their main office or headquarters in your territory and reach out to them.  You will want to identify any youth sports or ‘outdoor events’ in your area and contact them as well.   Having community involvement and the ability to do computer/internet research will help you as you are growing your pipeline of customers.

The majority of your sales/orders will come from business that you generate.  The vast majority of your time (first year) will be looking for or generating new customer contacts… but as time goes on, your return customers will quickly make up 80% of your sales volume.  

One exciting part of working with Activate Canopy is your ability to become a business owner.  While growing the company is one of our main goals, we also want to help you become self employed and become a licensee of the Activate Canopy brand, and own your own business… giving you the chance to 3x or 4x your annual income.  Imagine more than DOUBLING your pay after the first year.  This is NOT Multi Level Marketing, its the opportunity to break away and start your own company… if that’s what you choose to do.
